> President Bola Tinubu has ordered a manhunt for armed kidnappers who attacked four villages in Niger state last Friday. More than 40 people were reportedly killed, while a video posted by the kidnappers shows people they claim to have abducted. A local youth leader estimates that up to 500 people may be missing, though this has not been verified.
