> Ukraine’s metals industry has fallen into a deep crisis, RBC-Ukraine reported. Explosions put Zaporozhstal and ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog out of action in August; together they accounted for about 72% of the country’s steel output in 2025. A prolonged halt could cut exports and foreign-currency earnings, raise construction costs and put pressure on the hryvnia, with production potentially down by about 2 million tons by the end of 2026.
