# Gas injections into European storage hit six-year low in August

> Net gas injections into EU underground storage facilities reached their lowest August level in six years, according to TASS calculations based on Gas Infrastructure Europe data. Since early April, Europe has injected just 56% of the volume needed for winter. Storage facilities are 62.99% full, the lowest level for this date since records began in 2011.
