> Kidnappers have released a video appearing to show a large group held by armed men in a forest in Nigeria. The footage surfaced two days after gunmen abducted up to 600 worshippers during Friday prayers in Dekera village, Niger state. The mass kidnapping underscores the north’s security crisis as presidential elections approach.
