> More than 40,000 people have been evacuated as the fast-moving Hawk fire threatens Reno in northwestern Nevada, while another 45,000 face evacuation warnings. Officials say the fire was human-caused but have not said whether it was deliberate. Some 800 firefighters are battling the blaze, hindered by shifting winds, with no containment reported.
