# DR Congo to receive 70,000 Ervebo vaccine doses as Ebola outbreak surges

> The WHO says 70,000 Ervebo doses have been allocated to the Democratic Republic of the Congo from the global stockpile. Some 20,000 will support a late-stage trial on protection against the Bundibugyo virus, while 50,000 are intended for frontline and health workers. The outbreak has killed 2,476 of 5,208 confirmed cases.
