> Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz accused President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of dragging Turkey into “dangerous adventures in Syria” after Israel struck Syria’s Abu al-Duhar air base, saying Turkish troops were about to deploy there. Turkey denied having a military presence at the base, condemned the strikes as unacceptable and reckless, and vowed to keep supporting Syria’s sovereignty.
