> After more than two years of denial, Israel’s military has acknowledged firing on the car in which five-year-old Palestinian Hind Rajab was trapped and opened a criminal investigation. Her relatives were killed in the shooting, while two Palestinian Red Crescent medics died when their ambulance was hit during the rescue attempt. Evidence cited by investigators challenges Israel’s earlier claims that its forces were absent or caught in crossfire.
