> North Korea launched an unidentified projectile toward waters off its east coast on Thursday, South Korea’s military said. Japan said it may have been a ballistic missile and reported that the object had already fallen. The launch followed US President Donald Trump’s announcement that he plans to meet Kim Jong Un later this year.
