> Donald Trump says the US has no talks with Iran under way or scheduled, while insisting the Strait of Hormuz remains open and a naval blockade of Iranian ports is still in force. His comments come as Iran and Oman continue discussions on managing the waterway. Mediators say they are awaiting an Iran-Oman deal before pushing Washington and Tehran to resume negotiations, while an apparent US policy shift has stalled progress toward talks and restored maritime traffic.
