> US President Donald Trump threatened Oman over its reported move toward an agreement with Iran concerning the Strait of Hormuz, the Associated Press reported, citing sources. Trump is facing mounting pressure over promises to quickly win the conflict, weaken Tehran and secure a better nuclear deal, while Iran is using control of the strait as leverage. He previously threatened to bomb Oman if it “gets in the way” of resolving the US-Iran conflict.
