> US President Donald Trump said Washington and Tehran were not holding or planning any talks. He claimed the Strait of Hormuz was “open and operating,” contradicting Iranian reports, while British military officials said a projectile hit a ship leaving the strait. Israel also struck a Syrian military airbase, drawing condemnation from Syria, the US and Turkey.
