> US President Donald Trump threatened to bomb Oman if it “gets in the way” of a peace deal with Iran. Oman is negotiating with Iran over reopening the Strait of Hormuz as US-Iran talks remain deadlocked, and the 60-day memorandum that enabled negotiations has expired. Trump made a similar threat in May.
