> Conflicts and climate change have sharply increased transport costs on key maritime and river routes, the Financial Times reports. Rates for oil shipments from the Persian Gulf to Asia reached a record $15.22 per barrel last week, amid the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz, droughts and disruption around the Panama Canal, Red Sea and Black Sea.
