> China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment says air and water quality improved during the first seven months of 2026. Average PM2.5 concentration fell by 1.8 micrograms per cubic meter, or 6.2%, while the share of days with good air quality rose 3.9 percentage points. Class I–III surface-water sites reached 86.5%.
