> Iran-US regional tensions remained in focus on Friday as Tehran pursued diplomatic contacts. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed the situation with his Greek counterpart and updated him on talks with Oman over safe shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian media separately reported that the Revolutionary Guard had downed a US MQ-9 Reaper over Hormozgan, without saying when. Pakistan also urged implementation of its memorandum with Washington.
