# Russian citizen sentenced to 23 years for spying for Polish intelligence

> The Moscow City Court sentenced Russian national Georgy Pirogov to 23 years in a maximum-security penal colony for collecting and sharing classified information about advanced Russian weapons with Polish intelligence, the FSB said. He was also fined 800,000 rubles and given two years of custodial restraint. The FSB said Pirogov admitted voluntarily working for Polish intelligence and helping transfer cryptocurrency and equipment to the Ukrainian army.
