> The US administration has sent NATO allies a questionnaire to assess their support for President Donald Trump’s policies ahead of a possible reduction in the American military presence in Europe, Bloomberg reports. It asks about backing Washington’s foreign-policy line, limits on US base access, purchases from US defense firms and European defense production. Some allies saw it as seeking ideological alignment in return for security guarantees.
