> False claims spread online after Abdul El-Sayed won Michigan’s Democratic Senate primary, alleging voting irregularities and misrepresenting his political views, including whether he called the US deserving of the 9/11 attacks. He received 743,455 votes statewide, not 1.4 million in Detroit alone.
