> UN humanitarian officials say most people in the occupied Palestinian territory lack adequate water, sanitation and hygiene. More than 1.3 million people receive under 6 liters of water per person daily, while another 700,000 receive under 9 liters for domestic use. In Gaza, only half of households have basic sanitation and over 900,000 people report exposure to accumulated residential garbage.
