> Israeli troops forced two Palestinian families from their homes in Qusra in the occupied West Bank and temporarily took over six other houses during an operation to remove settlers. Settlers remained in the village. Former Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert called the siege a “concerted and meticulous attempt at ethnic cleansing”, while the military said residents were meant to stay in their homes.
