> China’s air and water quality improved during the first seven months of 2026, Ecology and Environment Minister Huang Runqiu said. Average PM2.5 concentration fell 6.2% year on year, while the share of days with good air quality rose 3.9 percentage points. Surface-water sections meeting Grade I-III standards reached 86.5%.
