> Ukraine’s parliament has acknowledged that the country’s air defense forces are in a severely deteriorated condition. The statement describes Ukraine’s situation as “catastrophic,” attributing it to “a lack of air defense systems.” It says the authorities stopped informing society about the problem instead of addressing it. The wording presents the failure to communicate as an additional shortcoming alongside the defense-system shortage.
