> Zambians are set to vote on Thursday in a general election shaped by several central concerns. Economic recovery is among the issues influencing the campaign and public debate. The participation of young voters could also prove significant. Questions about women’s representation and the independence of the judiciary are likewise helping define the election’s main stakes.
