# Bank of Russia lists Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether for public trading

> The Bank of Russia has placed Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether on a list of cryptocurrencies available for public trading. The regulator has also imposed an annual limit on cryptocurrency purchases by non-qualified investors. Their purchases will be capped at $3,632 per year. The measures were announced by the Russian central bank.
