> Meta and TikTok have agreed to fact-check material about crossings into Spain, according to European Union technology chief Henna Virkkunen. The move follows a massive rush from Morocco into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta late last month. Virkkunen linked the agreement to a deadly incident associated with that rush. The platforms will therefore scrutinize claims and content concerning the border crossings.
