> Australia will begin vaccinating captive native bird species against H5 bird flu as the deadly virus continues spreading across the country. Federal agriculture minister Julie Collins said priority species in captivity would receive the first doses in the coming days and weeks. Officials also hope to vaccinate some wild birds, but acknowledge that catching them once is difficult. Capturing the same birds twice to administer both doses would be even more challenging.
