> North Korea has condemned Japan’s 2026 defense white paper, describing it as driven by a desire for re-invasion and aimed at legalizing the operation of its war machine. A North Korean analyst said the document groundlessly portrayed North Korea as Japan’s greatest strategic challenge. The analyst argued that this characterization was intended to justify what North Korea called Japan’s reckless buildup of arms.
