> CNN says Donald Trump and the Republican Party are facing an unfavorable outlook as the US midterm elections draw closer. The television channel reported that rising gasoline prices were worsening Americans’ perceptions of the economy. Weak employment figures were also failing to help Republicans. Together, those conditions are leaving the party in a difficult position ahead of the midterms. The assessment focuses on economic concerns and their political impact.
