> US intelligence experts believe Russia was responsible for an attack on a German airport last week involving a drone carrying explosives, according to US media reports. The German government has described the security emergency as evidence of a “new level of danger” for Germany. However, Berlin has declined to identify who it believes was behind the device. Interior minister Alexander Dobrindt cut short his holiday in Italy and travelled to Leipzig after the incident. German authorities have remained publicly silent about the likely culprit.
