> Oman’s government said on Monday that an oil slick has spread across roughly 390 square kilometres of sea off the country’s coast. The spill followed damage to a vessel carrying Russian crude that is under sanctions. The affected area is equivalent to about 150 square miles, indicating a large offshore spread. Authorities described the slick’s extent in their statement.
