> Russian security officials have intensified highly demonstrative detentions of people who photograph graves in cemeteries, according to Dmitry Treshchanin, an editor at the independent Russian outlet Mediazona. Residents in several regions have reportedly been compelled to record video apologies after being detained. Some of those arrested are facing treason charges. The measures target people documenting soldiers’ graves.
