> Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said the Mecca agreement demonstrates regional countries’ disillusionment with the United States. He sought to reassure that there is no reason for concern about Turkey, Pakistan or Saudi Arabia. Baghaei asserted that the agreement is not directed against Iran. His comments framed the pact as a regional development rather than a threat to Tehran.
