> China’s Consumer Price Index increased 0.5% year on year in July, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. The rise was 0.5 percentage points lower than the increase recorded in June. Consumer prices therefore remained higher than a year earlier, although the pace of annual growth eased during the month.
