> Thousands of young protesters marched toward the state legislature in India’s eastern Jharkhand state on Monday. They were protesting alleged wrongdoing in the state’s civil services examinations. Police said water cannons were used to disperse the crowd. The demonstration brought the exam allegations directly to the state’s legislative seat.
