> Growing concern over Japan’s expanding military capabilities and changing security policies has brought demonstrators into the streets. Protesters are opposing what they describe as a military shift under the Takaichi government. They warn that the country could see a return of militaristic thinking. The rally reflects public unease over the direction of Japan’s security policy.
