> Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said Moscow rejects the option of “freezing” the conflict in Ukraine. He emphasized that Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly said no freeze is possible unless the root causes of the crisis are eliminated. The statement presents addressing those causes as a necessary condition rather than accepting a temporary halt. It does not describe any separate proposal or agreement beyond that position.
