> Gabon’s capital, Libreville, has endured severe water shortages for several months. Low rainfall, ageing infrastructure and rising demand from a growing population have driven the crisis. Yet a distribution plan for affected neighbourhoods has failed to relieve the situation, after private water distributors exploited the scheme. France 24 reports from Libreville.
