> Israel has announced a tender for 627 housing units intended for settlers in the occupied West Bank. Officials warn that the new settlement tender deepens Israeli efforts to sever Palestinian ties to Jerusalem. The move raises concerns about further restricting Palestinian connections with the city and entrenching the settlement project in the territory.
