> Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian says Tehran will keep pursuing what he calls a “path of peace” with the United States under a recently signed memorandum of understanding. He stresses that Iran’s participation in negotiations depends on Washington creating an atmosphere of trust. The statement links any continued talks to confidence-building by the US. It presents Iran’s diplomatic course as conditional rather than automatic.
