> Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan called on Russia and Ukraine on Aug. 8 to impose a moratorium on attacks against vessels in the Black Sea. His appeal came as strikes on ships in the region have become more frequent. Fidan’s proposal targets both sides and seeks to suspend attacks at sea. The call reflects Turkey’s effort to address the growing number of incidents involving vessels in the Black Sea.
