> The United States has fewer than 1,700 Patriot missiles remaining during its operation involving Iran, according to a newspaper report. Shrinking inventories are reportedly compelling the Pentagon to adjust its deployments. Ships, aircraft and air-defense units are being redeployed from Asia and Europe to the Middle East. The report presents the moves as a response to demands created by the operation.
