> Cuba’s envoy to the United Nations, Ernesto Soberon Guzman, says an executive order by Donald Trump has caused a humanitarian crisis in Cuba. He rejects claims that the Cuban government has billions of dollars available but refuses to use the money to buy fuel. Soberon Guzman dismisses those claims as “absurd lies,” presenting them as an effort to misrepresent Havana’s position during the crisis.
