> Russian strikes near the Ukrainian capital have killed three people, including a child. The attack came as the US Senate approved new sanctions against Russia. Kyiv is also appealing for additional air-defence interceptors. The developments link the deadly strike to both renewed US pressure on Moscow and Ukraine’s urgent request for greater protection from aerial attacks.
