> The United States will partially resume activities in Michoacan, Mexico’s leading avocado-producing state. The U.S. embassy said on Friday that the move eases a suspension imposed over security concerns. The pause had disrupted inspections of avocado exports. Michoacan has been affected by persistent violence, making security a central concern for the inspection process.
