> Spain has warned that it could retaliate if Italy fails to remove border controls introduced after the Ceuta crossings. Spanish officials described Italy’s border action as “unjustified” following last week’s mass crossing of migrants from Morocco. The dispute centers on Italy’s response to the migration episode and the continued controls. Spain’s warning adds pressure to the disagreement between the two countries over the border measures.
