> Thailand’s Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul pledged to introduce a new firearms control law within hours of a deadly shooting rampage on the outskirts of Bangkok. The announcement came as the country responded to the school shooting. Thailand is described as Southeast Asia’s largest gun-owning nation. The proposed legislation would make firearms control a central government response to the attack.
