> Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan are set to sign a joint defence agreement as turmoil continues across the region. The pact comes after almost a year of negotiations between the three countries. Its conclusion would further strengthen an emerging grouping of major Sunni Muslim powers. The deal therefore marks a step toward deeper cooperation among these regional actors, according to the framing of the report.
