> Thousands gathered outside Argentina’s Senate on Thursday to oppose a controversial private property bill. The protest ended in clashes, with tear gas and rubber bullets used during the unrest. Javier Milei’s government removed the bill’s most contentious provision, which would have increased limits on foreign ownership of land. That change has not eased the demonstrators’ anger, and opposition to the legislation remains visible in the streets.
