> The U.S. State Department and the chair of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations renewed their demand on Friday for the unconditional release of Myanmar’s detained former leader, Aung San Suu Kyi. They also called for the release of other political prisoners. The appeal reiterates their position on political detentions in Myanmar.
